Conducted by Ipsos Mendelsohn, the survey finds that average household income of DEPARTURES readers is $619,000, with an average net worth of more than USD 3.7 Mio – the highest of any measured media in the US. Using their American Express Platinum and Centurion cards, DEPARTURES readers spent $129 billion dollars on discretionary goods and services in the last year, recognizing the importance of investing in quality!
Reflecting its position as the leader of authentic luxury, DEPARTURES US “International Style” issue (March/April) climbed up 36% and 20%, respectively, in ad revenue and paging according to Publisher Steven DeLuca. “Luxury marketers recognize DEPARTURES as the desired brand for reaching truly affluent consumers that value the magazines stylish and sophisticated environment as a backdrop to showcase their luxury product”.
