Italy: Women's magazine AMICA has a new lay-out

Since October 20, 2011, the Italian women's magazine Amica has a new structure with a refreshed cover.

Launched in 1962, the magazine has always had a very distinctive personality.
In the 60s and 70s Amica was very provocative, very close to social commitment and women emancipation topics.

After the relaunch as a monthly magazine the focus of the title was to become an irreverent and ironic ICON of fashion.
Distinctive marks of Amica are of course the sober and elegant black and white graphic and still life shootings.

Now that Amica is recognised to be an icon of fashion, its readers are asking the magazine to be a bit more close to common women, to be a magazine ‘to read’ and not just a fashion inspiration.

The magazine covers fashion, current affairs, personalities, stories, polls and trends among others.

The new structure of the magazine has 4 sections: Stories, Fashion, Beauty, and Escape. Every section is introduced by a colorful cover, where the arguments comes mainly from the female universe.
The new Amica is also available on iPad.

Amica has an average net paid circulation of 145'380 copies for the period from August 2010 to July 2011 (ADS) and a readership of 1'084'000 (Audipresse 2011/II).
